The Happy Time Orchestra has been a group for almost three years but started in the pandemic so hasn’t done many live performances. So when they do perform it’s a very special treat. The group was started by drummer and composer Collin Nordine, who teamed up with Grammy winning pianist and harmonica player Howard levy and the most exciting trumpet player in Chicago, Victor Garcia to form this amazing group.
The music is all original, unique, and very much unlike anything you’ve ever heard.
This 9 piece band is an adventure that stretches the limits of Latin jazz featuring some of Chicagos most notable players, professors, and yes doctors of this great music! This is a show not to be missed.
