.VOM is an experimental music project led by Rufus Parenti, which combines elements of ambient music, jazz, post-rock, folk, and experimental electronics. The ensemble takes several forms, ranging from duos that revolve around ambient improvisation, trio and quartet based in the more traditional jazz setting, and a sextet that takes inspiration from layered soundscapes and post-rock music of Chicago.
