Mar Caribe is an all instrumental band of pedal steel, three horns, and acoustic rhythm section plying the currents between Calexico and Nino Rota. We play uptempo versions of movie themes, Bollywood, surf, mambo, and other instrumental classics plus our originals drawing on those styles. If Holly Golightly had a Spotify playlist, it would sound like us.
