Taki Soul & Las Minkeras.  Las Minkeras is a collective of Ecuadorian women based in Chicago, channeling the spiritual and musical traditions of the Andes into a powerful act of collective expression. Rooted in taki—song as memory, prayer, and resistance—their music draws from Indigenous rhythms and ancestral wisdom to honor the human experience in all its struggle and beauty. Blending Andean influences with contemporary social consciousness, they uplift women’s voices and community resilience through sound. Their work is both musical and ceremonial: a call for justice, healing, and unity across borders, generations, and lived experiences.
