RIMEL is an all-women regional Mexican band from Chicago boldly reshaping the sound and spirit of norteño sax music. Rooted in traditional Mexican music and raised in the multicultural reality of the United States, RIMEL embodies the best of both worlds—honoring their heritage while pushing the genre forward with a fresh and fearless perspective. Led by sisters Letty (vox/bajo quinto), Shely (accordion), Tita (vox/electric bass), Melen (drums), Gabby (sax) and Destiny (vox), the group brings power, elegance, and intention to a male-dominated scene. More than a band, RIMEL is a statement: women claiming space, telling their own stories, and turning dreams into sound through discipline, unity, and deep cultural pride.
