FITZGERALDS PRESENTS A HAPPY HOUR CONCERT WITH:
THE TERRY WHITE BAND
Terry White's career as a musician can be traced back to his childhood in Oak Park, IL, just outside of
Chicago, where he began teaching himself guitar as a teen but really took root in Carbondale, IL, where
he attended SIU and formed Modern Day Saints with Phil Bayer, Kevin James and later Rob Pierce. The
band moved to Los Angeles in 1989 where they enjoyed a rabid LA following as regulars on the
legendary Sunset Strip. After a long residency at the Whisky-a-Go-Go, Modern Day Saints broke up in
1992 and Terry formed several other bands over the years, including Cannonball, The Yellowhammers
and The Zimmermen. He released in first solo record, Our Sperate Ways in 2007 followed by Cannonball
Fodder in 2012, California Rain in 2016 and Still Got Me in 2020. His latest release, You Won’t Have a
Name was released in September 2025. As the Chicago Tribune has said, “Terry’s songs are as gorgeous
as they are haunting”.
