'Missouri-born frontwoman & songwriter Meg Sampson formed the band in
2018, quickly releasing her first single "Bar in the Divorce" and establishing the
Wheelers as a local up-and-comer. Their distinct sound is a result of five
seasoned musicians and close friends collaborating, drawing on the rich history
of country music, with influences ranging from Margo Price to Loretta Lynn. Meg
& The Wheelers craft a unique and exciting spin on the music that made them,
combining modern lyrics with traditional melodies, weaving tales of love & loss
that feel both fresh and timeless.
Meg & The Wheelers' latest EP Midwest Best was recorded at Chicago's
legendary Electrical Audio studio and was released in 2023. They have shared the
stage with national acts such as Ashley Mcbryde and Joshua Hedley. They were
