Reilly Downes is a singer/songwriter from the Texas Hill Country, making what she describes as “Sad Cowgirl Music”…Reilly Downes grew up along the riverside, but she soon found herself lost in the desert.
Reilly has been compared to the likes of Gillian Welch, Alison Krauss, and June Carter Cash with the flare of Nikki Lane. She was raised in the Texas Hill Country, but later found herself immersed in the Panhandle desert where a little canyon grit was added to her pure green sound.
