Neptune's Core
Up-and-coming Chicago indie rock band Neptune's Core is composed of two sets of sisters who formed the band in 2018. Since being inspired to start a band while studying music and hanging out at Chicago music venues and festivals, they have independently released two singles in 2019 and a full-length album called Can't Have it All in 2020.
The band is finalizing songs for a new album to be released later in 2020 and Turning Red, the first single from that upcoming album, is out now. They play a wide variety of styles within indie rock and are known for their strong complex harmonies, dissonant chords and funky rhythms. Neptune's Core thrives performing live and has played music venues, record stores, and neighborhood music festivals all over Chicago and Wisconsin.
