Thu, Jul 11 2019, 8:00pm - $5 donation

Doors open at 7 pm.

Kettlestrings (8 pm): An Oak Park rock/blues band playing twists on familiar tunes.
DC Millionaire (9 pm): DC Millionaire is the brainchild of Chicago born artist Jeremiah Zelaskiewicz, who believes that “less is more” when it comes to songwriting. While attending the University of Illinois, Jeremiah joined his first band Fool’s Crow and discovered a natural love of playing guitar and singing. Jeremiah moved to Chicago and was an original member of the Chicago-based rock band The Sleepers. After a few years with The Sleepers, he made the decision to take time off from music. It was during the Great Recession that he found his way back to music and began writing songs for the first time, reconnecting with other musicians from his past to help with his new project. Released in 2012, "Unemployed" was his debut solo album featuring an original collection of songs that created a unique style and blend of the Americana sound. Along with Kit Mackie (Fool's Crow/The Bandages) and Brian Racine (Indignant) on keyboard and drums, the trio started practicing and writing new songs. In 2017, the final piece came into place when Adam Przybyla (of Indignant) joined DC Millionaire on bass guitar. Now boasting a full lineup, DC Millionaire is currently recording a new album and performing select shows around Chicago. https://www.facebook.com/dcmillionaire/

Jerry King (drums).
