DC MILLIONAIRE (10 pm): DC Millionaire is the brainchild of Jeremiah Zelaskiewicz, a Chicago born artist who believes that “less is more” when it comes to songwriting. Growing up listening to the sounds of Motown, he quickly developed a fascination for the rich history of American delta blues, early 50’s Rock n’ Roll, and country music. While attending the University of Illinois, Jeremiah formed his first band Fool’s Crow with some classmates and quickly discovered a natural talent for playing the guitar and singing. Upon graduation, Jeremiah moved back to Chicago and was an original member of The Sleepers, a Chicago-based rock band who performed across the city in famous venues such as The Double Door, the Beat Kitchen, and Elbo Room. After achieving moderate success, he decided to take a break from music to pursue other endeavors.

It was during the Great Recession that Jeremiah found his way back to music this time as a songwriter. Released in 2012, "Unemployed" was his debut album featuring an original collection of songs that created a unique blend of Americana music. The idea was to capture some of the vintage sounds he grew up listening to and drawing upon personal experiences as inspiration. It was around this time that Jeremiah also reconnected with Kit Mackie and Brian Racine, both of whom agreed to join the band on drums and keyboards. Now boasting a 3-piece lineup, DC Millionaire is currently focused on recording an album of new material to be released soon. https://www.facebook.com/dcmillionaire/
