September 13, 2007 (Berwyn, IL) – On Saturday September 22, FitzGerald’s Nightclub will host the Berwyn premiere of Bon Jovi’s new music video “Lost Highway.”
The American rock icons spent July 31 in Berwyn, recording a music video at FitzGerald’s Nightclub. Fans lined Roosevelt Road hoping to catch a glimpse of Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and their band mates. Even Berwyn Mayor Michael O’Connor stopped by to see the action.
“This was our first music video and it was interesting to watch it all come together,” said Bill FitzGerald, owner of the 27-year-old music venue. “The club looks great in the video and we thought it would be fun to show it on stage, big as life, in the very location it was shot.”
The video will be shown on a 9 x16 foot screen during the intermission between the YellowHammers and Bad Examples sets.
Oak Park’s own Mike and Mimi Moore’s pool table made its debut in the video. Pool tables were also used when Martin Scorsese filmed The Color of Money, starring Paul Newman and Tom Cruise, at FitzGerald’s.
FitzGerald’s is located at 6615 West Roosevelt Road in Berwyn. Saturday night's show featuring The YellowHammers and Ralph Covert’s Bad Examples begins at 9:15pm. Tickets are $10 and available at the club and at TicketMaster.
